Microsoft have recently introduced a new feature called ‘Clutter’ in Office365. Clutter helps Outlook decide what emails you do not need to read immediately, and moves them into a folder called Clutter – out of your inbox. If you have been experiencing missing emails, try locating a folder called Clutter, they might just be hiding away in there.

Although Microsoft means well with this feature, for some it may just be a little too invasive to actually be helpful. Clutter was created to help manage your inbox but for some it may just end up creating confusion. Others may want to improve the way it assesses incoming emails.

The Internet is full of uncertainties so be very careful about what information you choose to share on it. You probably heard about LastPass getting hacked – although a minor breach, LastPass did ask every user to update their master password. They were confident that actual stored passwords weren’t stolen, but user email addresses, authentication hashes, and password reminders were deemed “compromised”.

What else is insecure?

Though the hack doesn’t seem to fundamentally undermine what LastPass does, it’s still concerning to see it happen to a widely used, consumer-friendly provider of strong individual cybersecurity. If anything, the LastPass incident should remind us all that security needs to stay front of mind.
