But next time someone asks you “where’s that file saved?” quickly send them the location by copying and pasting the file path. Here’s how: In Windows Explorer, hold down the shift key while right-mouse clicking on the file name. The option “Copy as path” will appear (see figure below). By selecting this option the path will be copied to the clipboard and available for you to paste into a message. You can also paste it into the title bar of the ‘open’ dialog box in the relevant application to save time navigating to that file.
